Tufts University gets in the middle of its students sex lives

As reported on most local news channels, Tufts University has laid down some new rules – involving its boarding students. If you’ve had a college roomate you may agree that it’s a little awkward when you bring someone back to your dorm and your roomate is sleeping – or doing homework. OR you could be that friend, when your roommate comes in with the catch of the day.
By the by, there is now a term for asking your roommate to leave so you can get some. It’s called sexiling (feel free to correct my spelling) (pronounced sex-ciling). Definition: the act of exiling ones roommate whilst engaging or wanting to engage in sexual activity. Variation: Sexiled (this means, you are the roommate).
Tufts University is now enforcing a “no sex while your roommate is in the room” law. Excuse me but am I the only one that thinks this is silly?
Once a person is 18 years of age, they are free to do whatever they please (within the legal restrictions obviously) and if they want to engage in sexual activity while their roommate is in the room, that’s their choice – and if their roommate doesn’t like it? They should figure it out.
This isn’t the place for any school to get involved. What’s next? Regulating eating habbits?
